The purpose of stretching a canvas is to preserve it and prepare it for framing. We stretch a lot of canvases, both painted and unpainted. Depending upon the size of the canvas, we have different sizes of wood stretcher frames we use. We also use cross bars to prevent warping.
Box Framing is one of our specialities. You have inherited an amazing piece of sports memorabilia or a historical artifact. You want to display it but you are worried it will get damaged.
The solution is to box frame it. This type of framing is particularly suitable for framing of sporting items and memorabilia of different sizes and type. Box framing is also very effective in preserving such items.
